Do They Really Hate Letters or Is It Just Mistrust?

NUMBERS HATE LETTERS

This poster, created for local Regina band Numbers Hate Letters, was an experiment in designing with a very specific set of constraints. No images, must include Helvetica, all ideas must be expressed typographically and it must adhere to golden section dynamics. With these limitations in mind, the solution required some creative thinking (imagine that) and the use of a visual gag (the text above "The Other Side" runs backwards). Writing about it now, maybe it's not the best joke ever but, I enjoyed it.
