Despistado

Despistado was a short lived Regina band who went on to great things. I had the opportunity to design two CD covers and T-Shirts for the band. One disk got released while the other, sadly, did not (at least not as a physical product). The second project was particularily fun and involved working with my friend Jeff Way of Wilkosz + Way Photography. The idea for "The People of And Their Verses" was to take an object that is closely related to daily life, the chair, and place it in a context it would not normally be seen in. By placing the object in a rural and two urban scenes, it was hoped that this commonality would show how human experience may differ but there are constants to all walks of life. Beneath the disk and inside the spine, facts about Regina were written to show how the band's own personal surroundings influenced them.
