Should you need them.
15 Graphic Design Interview Tips from David Airey. I’ll add my own to the list. Your first or second interview out are going to be sketchy. If you can get out of an environment that gives the interviewer the upper hand, all the better. Of the interviews I’ve had, the ones in offices are frightening, the ones on neutral ground (coffee shops, restaurants) are better all around. Everyone gets a little more loose which allows the you in you to shine* a little more. I realize this isn’t always possible but it seriously makes a difference and all interviewers should consider doing it. Also, keep an even pace when going over your portfolio. I get nervous, I go quick. If you can spend as much time talking about your shit as your good work, you can make that shit seem a little more worthy of attention.

*My shine is a little tarnished so anything helps. Also, did I just write “shine a little more”? I think I did.
