Song of the day.

Todays driving to work song was Love Thang by NoMeansNo. While I was driving, I was thinking about how maybe, possibly this band and the album Sex Mad in particular, really informed who I am. I love NoMeansNo, at least to a point. I dig everything they did up to 0 + 2 = 1. Like love it. If I’m somewhere and I hear anything off these albums, I’ll freak out, start air drumming and singing along in a way that is likely not very flattering. Thankfully, I don’t have to look at myself while I do it and I apologize to anyone who has to watch because I’m sure it’s goofy. Anyway, yeah, I think they helped make me who I am though not in a good way. If I was going to name one thing that NoMeansNo gave me, it’s cynicism. That whole record is, I don’t know, not happy.
