Don’t tell me, show me.
Bel Canada has been asked by the CRTC to reveal the levels of congestion that they are claiming led to the company throttling bandwidth for users of Bell’s internet service. My guess is that Bell’s claim is going to turnout to be bullshit. While there is no doubt that peer to peer is a problem, if you provide a service to a consumer and that service is becoming stressed, it seems to me that the onus is on you to maintain the level of that service. If demand grows, you must grow in turn especially now that more and more forms of media are being delivered over the tubes (iTunes movies, music, books, etc.) and entering the market place.
