A Connecticut church posts a video of a "gay exorcism". It's the kind of thing you have to take seriously because it means that a) the members of this church actually believe that "demons" exist and b) that those demons cause homosexuality. Unbelievable. I would however like to point out this frame in an effort to shame them. ★
Ad Broad helps us reminisce about the forgotten tools of the graphic designer/art director. I still have my proportional scale, a roll of rubylith, a shit load of Letraset, my super set of Rapido's and a sonic tip cleaner, several bottles of rubber cement (which is seriously always useful), a line screen gauge and a fold up German IPI loupe. I'm young but the first school I went to? Holy old school. More stuff (that I have in my closet) at the Museum of Forgotten Art Supplies. ★
Steven Frank of Panic with The Steven Frank Internet Technology Podcast with Steven Frank. Funny. ★
The quote "You put gun oil inside" is obviously not the weirdest thing about this video but it's the part that's sticking in my head. ★
fixoutlook.org–a site specifically for letting you add your voice to the choir of people asking for Outlook's rendering engine to, oh I don't know, work as expected? Check out the Email Standards Project for the full story on why standards matter in Email as well. Addition: Did you know that Outlook uses Word to render email? I sure didn't. That is full on odd. While I can see the logic behind Microsoft's decision to go that route (giving email authors the same tools as Word), not everyone uses Word to compose email, especially in mass mailing. I would assume most "rich" email is being written with, um, HTML. ★
Nothing scares a person more than having a fat bastard call them a "fucking motherfucker" from their bed. To carry on the sentiment of a friend–"karma" dipshit. The comments are incredibly hilarious. Making idols of celebrities is ridiculous on it's own but to make celebrities of people who make fun of celebrities? What is wrong with people. ★
