Now, I don’t know much about press releases or anything like that. I have always kind of assumed that they were to provide some amount of information that, say, a journalist could use to write a story. Rogers on the other hand, issues this:

We are thrilled to announce that we have a deal with Apple to bring the iPhone to Canada later this year. We can’t tell you any more about it right now, but stay tuned.

That’s it. That’s the whole thing (well, except for the corporate info). You’d think that you might at least wait until you had more info before jumping the gun like that. Though, do please notice that there is no mention of exclusivity. We can only guess right?
