Father Ted - MindFreak

From the “That’s Weird” department comes this interesting tidbit. My lady friend buys me the Father Ted box set which we, being the kind of people we are, start watching last night. Of course we begin with the first episode, episode one as it were, which was first broadcast on April 21, 1995. Freaky huh? What are the odds that a boy is born on April 21st and 20 years later, one of his favorite shows is thrust upon an unsuspecting viewing public only to return to that same young man upon his own birthday? I mean, I could have received it at Christmas or purchased it myself at any point in time but no, the circle remains unbroken. I am honestly surprised that the planets did not align, the rivers did not drain and the earth, held in the hands of a vengeful god so tired of his toil, was not turned to dust and released to cosmic fury. Oh, and my parents got me an iPod Touch which is totally cool.
