Please direct your attention to Seed Magazine, the most beautifully designed and thought provoking science magazine available. Art director Jeffery Docherty does a brilliant job making what might otherwise be inaccessible subject matter inviting and appealing. Seed is filled with incredible illustration and thought provoking content, easily making it my favorite read each month. Also linked into Seed is ScienceBlogs.com which is a great daily round up of science writing on the web.

i have always liked this magazine. i have the first issue that came out. also my friend shoot a decent amount for them. i believe he is friends with the art director you speak of.

Signal Response is written and maintained by Wade Sakundiak, a sometimes designer and all around ok guy from Canada. Usually, Signal Response is home to snarky posts about design or television or music. Lot’s of the time I post links to things other people on the internets have clued me into so forgive me if you’ve seen it before.
