About those letters.

These 3D titling letters (previously seen in the header of these here pages) have become the number one addition to my very small and limited Graphic Design Bag o’ Tricks.

Manufactured by Hanimex (abbreviated from Hannes Import Export), these little beauties were meant to be placed on a piece of card stock or what have you and photographed to give depth to your slide show title card or anywhere else you may require titling. I acquired these from my father who had bought them in orange for god knows what reason and for god knows what purpose though he had spent some time as an amateur shutterbug, a hobby that was also enjoyed by my grandfather after the experience of attending a photography class together.

Letters, letters, letters. Letters are something that I have an infinite respect for and though I can’t say that I’m very adept at arranging them into sentences, I can always take these 3/4″ shapes out of their case and arrange them in a way that suits me better.
