Guess who’s going to be broke…

The new iPods were announced today. Big increase in space on the, what is now referred to as the CLASSIC, iPod. 160 Gigs which is just what I needed (just what I needed!) but the big news is the iPod Touch. Snap, zing, bang. Yep, it’s the iPhone without all that phone. Wi-Fi, Safari, the whole nine yards and thus, broke. Do I need it? Of course I do. Do I need both? Well, it’s pretty likely that I do. Ships at the end of the month apparently so I could just get the touch and maybe a 160 Gigger for Christmas (I’m looking your way special lady, wink, wink, nudge, please?) Apple also announced that they are partnering with Starbucks for some reason. One stat that came out of that announcment was that Starbucks opens seven new stores every day. Seven! Am I the only one who is sick just thinking about that? Hey, I love coffee. I drink it all the time but I prefer to get a coffee by asking for it in the old fashion way. Large, black. The day I refer to something as a grande or whatever the hell they are calling it is the day I have a bullet in my head. There is something so lame about Starbucks that it just makes me cringe. Oh yeah, it’s the way they make buying coffee seem, I don’t know, snobbish. Really Apple, lame move.
